In partnership with Ontario Parks, the library is lending Ontario Parks Day-Use Permit and Vehicle Pass for over 100 provincial parks where fees are normally charged. These permits will provide complimentary day-use access for one vehicle and its occupants. Permits can be placed on hold and are loaned out for a week at a time.

Popular nearby parks include Forks of the Credit, Earl Rowe, Mono Cliffs, Wasaga Beach, Bronte Creek, and Sibbald Point but also included are longer day-trip locations like Algonquin Park, Turkey Point, Sauble Falls and The Pinery.

Family of four in winter

Visit the Park Locator page to find a Provincial Park and information to plan your outdoor adventure, including operating hours, maps and amenities.

The library also offers six CVC/TRCA family general admission passes for loan.

Remember to check out one of the library’s many hiking, bird, animal and plant guides to add a fun educational activity to your day.
