The Friends of the Orangeville Public Library is a volunteer organization that supports the library through advocacy, assistance with library programs, and special events designed to raise money for library needs.
Join the Friends. It's a great way to meet others who share your passion for books and to have some fun, all while supporting your community.
Saturday, May 25 - 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. - The Friends of the Orangeville Public Library are having a plant and book sale will be at the Train Station (49 Town Line). You will find a good selection of perennials at reasonable prices. The book sale is by donation. Shoppers are asked to bring a bag to fill and then make a donation (buyers set the price). The sale is cash only, with all proceeds going to support the library.
Meetings
Friends meet four to six times a year. Meetings are held on Tuesdays at the Library beginning at 10:15 a.m. No meetings are scheduled during the summer.
