
The Library offers a variety of free programs to help foster a love of literacy and lifelong learning for kids of all ages and families. Most programs are drop-in and are offered throughout the year on a seasonal basis in addition to special events.

After School Club |

Join the monthly After School Club for fun DIY activities, crafts, science experiments and games. This drop in program, for ages 7 to 12 years, takes place on the last Monday of the month from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Mill Library. No registration is required. Every Child Ready to Read Babies |
|
An early literacy storytime that gives kids a jump-start to a love of reading. Interactive activities like talking, singing, reading and playing for babies up to eighteen months. Drop-in to this program on Wednesdays, March 25 to May 27, 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the Mill Library. The babies program is also offered at the Alder Street location on Fridays, March 27 to May 29, 10:30 to 11 a.m. No registration is required. Check our Event Calendar for upcoming dates and times. |

Every Child Ready to Read Storytime - 5 and under |

Take part in songs, stories and rhymes for kids five and under. This fun, hands on program gives parents ideas and activities to help engage kids in reading and learning. Recommended for 5 and under. Drop-in to this program on Tuesdays, March 24 to May 26, 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Alder Library. The program is also offered on Thursdays, March 26 to May 28, 10:30 to 11 a.m. in Storyland at the Mill Library. No registration is required. Check our Event Calendar for upcoming dates and times. |
