The library offers a variety of books and audiobooks to help you learn a language – French, Spanish, Arabic and many more!

Find special language collections in the library:

  • English as a second language (ESL)
  • ESL test prep and workbooks (IELTS, TOEFL, CELPIP)
  • Easy-to-read adult fiction

A Variety of Languages to Read In

OverDrive provides eBooks, audiobooks and magazines for all ages in more than 50 languages.

Hoopla provides eBooks, audiobooks, comics, music and videos for all ages in more than 30 languages.

PressReader offers magazines and newspapers in more than 60 languages.

TumbleBookLibrary features animated storybooks for kids in several languages.

French Collection for Children

French picture books, easy reads and chapter books are available at both library locations. Ideal for K-6.

Launchpads - French Language and Learning to Read

Launchpad tablet

Children will learn basic French and experience language immersion as they dive into interactive storybooks and games filled with familiar objects, locations, and life events.

The Launchpad Reading Academy is a 5-level guided reading system that helps kids or adults learning English master verbal, reading, and writing skills — starting at any level. Every app, storybook, and video has been hand selected to help kids gain the knowledge they need to transition from learning to read to reading to learn.

Arabic Collection

The library has a small collection of picture books written in both English and Arabic. We also offer several language-teaching books and dictionaries for adults.
