The TD Summer Reading Club (TDSRC) is back, and this year’s theme is “Dive In!” This summer, children are invited to explore stories and activities inspired by a world of water.
Children ages 12 and under can register at either library branch and pick up a TD Summer Reading Club notebook with their own access code. TDSRC encourages a lifelong love of reading, helps prevent the summer literacy slide, and includes plenty of fun activities for children of all ages. Families can also visit the Events Calendar for weekly program dates and times.
Be sure to visit the library throughout the summer for weekly programs and opportunities to win prizes!
Enjoy a StoryWalk in the community this summer in downtown Orangeville! Presented in partnership with the Orangeville BIA, this year’s StoryWalk features "Colette: The Solitary Bee" by Jean-François Sénéchal.
Visit the TD Summer Reading Club website for even more activities, including free eBooks, author and illustrator videos, writing prompts, reading recommendations, jokes, trivia, and printable colouring sheets.
The program also offers resources for children with print disabilities. To learn more, email [email protected]
The TD Summer Reading Club is co-created and delivered by 2,000 public libraries across Canada. Development of this national, bilingual program is led by Toronto Public Library in partnership with Library and Archives Canada. Sponsorship is generously provided by TD Bank Group.
