  • Don't have a mobile device? Go to the Orangeville Public Library Beanstack site, or contact [email protected] for further assistance.

Read, Record and Repeat!

  1. Read new and exciting books independently, as a family, listen to audiobooks or a live storytime at one of our programs.
  2. Log what you read by entering it into the Beanstack tracker.
  3. Visit the library throughout the summer to choose new books. Keep reading, tracking, and completing challenges all summer long.

Enter to Win

  1. Earn badges (tickets) by reading and completing Beanstack challenges.
  2. Attend a Summer Reading Club reporting time to play a fun board game with Jasmine and Quinn to get extra challenges and prizes. The more books you read the more chances you get to play the Storybook Voyage game!

Tales on the Trails

In partnership with the Credit Valley Conservation Authority and Halton Hills Public Library, enjoy a picture book as you walk along the trail at Island Lake. There will be a new story every month. Tales on the Trails is located by the Natural Playground (park in area P4). Tales on the Trails provides an opportunity for everyone to read a story together while spending time enjoying nature.

Check out the national TD Summer Reading Club website - create a digital reading log, share jokes, read online web comics and find reading suggestions!

The TD Summer Reading Club is a national reading incentive program developed in partnership by Toronto Public Library and Library and Archives Canada, funded by TD Bank Group. The TDSRC aims to help stop the loss of reading skills for children during the summer months and inspire a lifelong love of literacy and learning.
