The provincial government guidelines, announced on September 22, restricts access to unvaccinated residents at certain indoor facilities, including recreation centres. Library customers will need to show proof of vaccination and government issued ID to access the Alder Street Recreation Centre. The vaccine certificate system exempts children who are 12 and under from this requirement.

Orangeville Public Library is launching a new technology service. The library is circulating 10 mobile SmartSpots to library cardholders who may not have Internet at home or lack reliable broadband Internet.
Library customers only need a Wi-Fi-ready device, such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop to use this electronic device. The SmartSpot connects to the Bell cellular network so can be used at home or on-the-go.

Curbside pick-up is available at Mill St. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Holds are only available for pick-up at the Mill St. location.
